Welcome to a unique expression of Budo both physical and philosophical.
Shisei Ryu AIkibudo is a modern Gendai martial art originating through a lineage of ancient or traditional martial arts. We utilize a basic strategy of core concepts and techniques using intuitive methods and employ the best dynamic for each situation.
Our art is based on techniques from Aikido, Judo and Karate-do. The cement of Shisei Ryu Aikibudo is the mutual journey shared on the mat with each other, it's not soley a solitary art. It's a social form of budo, based on an enviorment of mutual welfare and benefit.
Our techniques exist in the physical, mental and sprirtual realms. Our training methods support development of these three aspects of a person. We believe our method to be a form of budo (warrior way) versus a form of bujutsu (warrior art). We are interested in development of the whole person versus a focus soley on performance of technique.

His legacy
He was an exceptional leader and mentor to all who had the priviege of knowing him. Through his example, he trained numerous martial artists and leaders that teach and exemplify who he was.
We are grafeful to have trained under him and to have called him our leader, Kaiso.
May he watch over us and continue to lead us on our pathway together to the top of the mountain.
